We dares yo to find a fun way to cool off and take a picture of it. Mommy seems to think that sitting in my giant water bowl (it's a kiddie pool Fenris) is fun. She tried to get me to sit in there with her, is she STUPID????, you don't sit in water bowls. Anyway when I refused to sit in there she put my soccer ball in there and I did play paw the ball for awhile. Who knew it would float on top of the water. She insist that some dogs would like swimming in our pond, not me. Scylla and Socks think taking dust baths is the way to go and Charybdis seems to think that staying inside is the thing to do. So how do you stay cool & have fun? We are dying to know. ~Socks, Scylla, Charybdis & Fenris

It seems we didn't pay as much attention to the details as we should have, and made a mess of things. Karl has added additional directions in RED for those like us who don't read carefully. But we would still like to know how you are staying cool and having fun this summer, so leave us a comment and let us know. We need all the ideas you can think of to stay cool and have fun. And for those who are missing us we are alive and well but today is grocery store day and errand day and tomorrow Mommy is volunteering at the library so we will catch up with everyone as soon as we can. We has another idea but it's a secret for now as it may not WORK ...............

The little bipeds have one of those big water bowls here but we don't go in it. We are just staying inside to be cool.

We'd sure like to know how to cool off. We don't have a giant water bowl. Well, we have 2 actual giant water bowls but they aren't big enough to sit in. We just want to stay inside out of the sun, but it isn't cool.
Charybdis and Socks funnily enough don't mind getting wet. They run through mud puddles and the shallow part of the pond on a regular basis. Scylla & Fenris don't like getting wet at all. ~Alasandra

mom says that soon i can get to try one of those pool things. We don't have a yard so we can't do it, but i'm not really a 'water dog' anyway. But we'll try it!
We stay cool by laying under the ceiling fan wif da air conditioner on!
No wonder you wouldn't get in the water bowl. That's no proper way to stay cool (our Humans think it's really nice too - humans are strange).
We try to stay cool by making the Humans turn on the fan over their bed, so we can take a cool nap there.
