We has to add we don't think there is anything wrong with beans hunting for FOOD after all we hunt for food ourselves. At least when we are allowed out. But for sport, trophies or adventure is just plain wrong. We are totally disgusted by hunters who leave injured animals to suffer instead of tracking them down and putting them out of their misery. We are also disgusted by hunters who leave the meat because it is to much trouble to carry it out. If you don't need the food DON'T HUNT. We also are disgusted by the hunters who leave their dogs. If you take a dog into the woods stick around till it comes when called or at least make sure it has a collar on so you can be contacted when it shows up at someones house STARVING.
We are also enjoying celebratory purrs that Socks is home SAFE and Charybdis is getting better.

Don't like the hunters.
I am afraid I just dont like hunting. But the one's you describe how could they, and tom leave their dogs.. Dispicable.. Hugs GJ x
Too many hunters in France do not respect legal limits on how close they can hunt to homes and roads, which makes #1 LIVID!
Anyone who hunts solely for the sheer joy of killing another living thing should be locked up forever...
I've never understood hunting. Unfortunately, it is a popular "sport" in the South.
Thank dog that socks is safe at home and chawybdis is getting well!!!! pleez stay safe swet fweinds! I hate huntews!

The Big Thing useta hunt, and we do of course, too. The rule is, "Iffen ya kill it, ya eat it".
But there some reasons to control problem wild animals. We don't wanna get in any big arguements about it, but TBT once helped a farmer kill many groundhogs what were destroying his crops. An he says it might be better if deer were a bit more afraid of Beins so that they would stay out of yards.
But aside from that, yeah, let the animals alone what arent botherin any one. Killin aint a game or a sport.
We agree with y'all and TBT. Our Grandpa used to hunt. Mommy says deer meat and quail are yummy. He stopped hunting because he got tired of tracking OTHER HUNTERS wounded deer that they would leave to suffer and hauling OTHER HUNTERS kills that they were going to just leave to rot cause they didn't want to carry the carcass all the way back to the campsite. Plus there was the idiots that shot anything that moved. He got shot in the leg once while hunting.
Sadly if we can we will have to kill the beaver(s) that have been damming up our pond. They are causing sever flooding. It is ILLEGAL to relocate them so trapping them and killing them is the only option. We are not sure we want to eat beaver though. Maybe it taste like chicken.
