Sassy & Toby must find new homes ASAP. They will be taken to a shelter after Christmas if a home is not found for them. Contact Ellie by email if you can help.
Sassy says...
Hello, my name is Sassy and this is my handsome son Toby. We are two senior Birman cats that are looking for a forever home.
Our human momma took very good care of us all of our lives until one day she tripped and broke her hip and had to go to the hospital. A very nice lady and her family took us in temporarily, while our human momma recovered. Things did not turn out as expected and she died. None of the family wants us and this nice family we've been staying with do their best to care for us, but we are confined to an office and hallway because of her daughters allergies (and I think our male host is not happy we are in his office either).
We miss the affection and human contact we were so used to. We are both very social and love to be with people. We feel so lonely and would love to find someone that would enjoy our company. We get along with other cats, but dogs scare us. We enjoy children, though toddlers forget we are seniors and not up for rough play.
We are both very healthy, spayed and neutered and front declawed, so we have to be indoor cats only. We are not picky eaters and just rather have dry food than anything else. I would be lost if my son and I could not be adopted together, we have been together 11 years and we love each other very much.
Please let us know if we can have a special Christmas in our forever home. Contact Ellie by email.
Forever grateful
Sassy and Toby P.S. Look up about my breed (Birman), we are kind of special)
We currently live in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area

Well, your butterfly let me see your blog today. :-)
We hope these lovely kitties find a home soon. It's so sad when someone dies and their pets are dumped at the shelter. At least someone is trying to help these two.
