Scylla Sunday

We are having a backwards Christmas. We hopes you don't mind. See we didn't much feel like celebrating after Charybdis died so we just got our Christmas stuff up right before Christmas and since Daddy was still remodeling the laundry room the house was Topsy turvy. So we decided to leave Christmas out until the end of January. That way Artemis can enjoy it too. This is her first Christmas. She said just getting a "real home" and a family was the bestest Christmas present ever, but we thoughts she could enjoy the tree and the Santa's too.

I am still deciding IF we will be friends. I am thinking yes. After all I am LOTS bigger then her. She only weighs 3 pounds, I weigh 13.

Mommy says she needs to clean up this messy house. Personally I likes it messy.

I checked with Socks and he likes it messy too.

We agree, messy is best.

3 pounds. Wow. That's almost like air. But we still think you should be friends.

Beans are so weird about always wanting to straighten up the house. I mean just think of all the time they waste cleaning when they could be petting their CAT. ~Scylla

Hey my sweet Scylla, I like messy too, actually I play a big part in creating messy at our house!

We like messy too. Mom used to like messy, but now she wants neat and Grandma used to like neat, but doesn't mind messy so much. Unless it's Mom's messy... we're still confused with it

It's not messy, it's comfortable!! Around here the consensus is that the bean regularly deprives the residents of the best places to snuggle and play with all that "straightening up!'"

I think the backward Christmas is a lovely idea, Scylla. Even though she doesn't "need" it, I'm sure Artemis is enjoying it. And I'm sure Charybdis approves of this lovely idea to keep the Christmas spirit alive, too.
