This is one of our Redbud Trees. It is the biggest and has the most blooms. It is in the backyard.

Hope Momo has arrived by now, Socks. Thanks for the walk. So why are they called Redbud when all the flowers are such a pretty lavender? They are everywhere we look here in our area. Must be because the buds are red before they burst into color?

Our redbud tree is has lost all of it's purrty buds and is now green. We think that tree is only pretty about one month outta the year.
