"X-rays showed that some had old bullet wounds and some still had bullet fragments from shotgun ammo.
"Most had mange, which takes weeks to treat, and about two-thirds have heart worms. Heart-worms cases are definitely treatable, but it can be a long process."
Some of the healthier dogs have been put up for adoption and others are in temporary, foster homes, Crump said.

We are praying and purring for those poor babies. Hope soon they all can be put up for adoption.
We too are purring and praying for them. It is just heartbreaking to know they were treated so so poorly.
