Some of you probably remember I wanted a sleeper sofa.Well the cats explained that I probably couldn't get a sleeper sofa, but that they would help me get a dog bed from All Pet Furniture.Com so we talked to the nice people at CSN Stores and they said that if I would do a review, they would send me a dog bed. We finally settled on the SSM - Supersoft Rectangular Max Dog Bed Caddis. Socks thought it was a good choice because it is supersoft. Scylla said I should get the X-large so there would be room for all of us and Artemisia said I should get the poly-suede blue cause it matched my eyes and the decor of the house. Artemisia seemed to think that was really important so I followed their advice and that is what I asked for. Mommy even had the perfect spot for it, next to the china cabinet in the dining room and I has to say it does go nicely with the wall paper.
We love the little paw prints on it and everyone LOVES the color.
At first I wasn't sure what I was suppose to do with it.
But Mom seemed to think I was suppose to just lay on it.
It is really comfy and there is room for both me & Mom to lay on it.
But there is a slight problem.
I really Love It.
I love it like I LOVES my STUFFIES.
Mommy kept telling me NO!
She tried to distract me with my Kong Wubba.
It worked for a little while.

And I really, really liked laying on the bed, but I was bored as it has rained and rained here and I haven't been able to go out.
Now it has a hole in it. IF anybody makes an indestructible dog bed please let us know. This one lasted a grand total of TWO HOURS. Mommy says she will put it in my crate so I will be more comfortable in there. Right now she has it in the garage so the kitties can sleep on it. They seems to like it a lot.

Oh Dear, Fenris! That is quite a dilemma! What to do? My bed comes from LL Bean and I have two covers, one regular and the other fleece for winter. But I don't really go for bed-eating, so they are still perfect after over two years of use.
Maybe you could try this: my sleeping bed, which is at the foot of #1's bed, is covered with a blankie that matches my fur. What if you covered your bed with a blankie?

Tommy
You and Diamond Doggie have a lot in common...
Fenris, ours are from LL Bean too. MOm had the first ones for over 10 years. Dakota and Phantom had them all through their early puppy chewing years and never damaged them. The only reason we have new ones is because the fabric finally got so threadbare that the zipppers broke away from it. Our new ones are very nice but Mom doesn't think they are as good as the old ones. But so far no pup (the little C) has done any damage at all.
We hope you can find one that won't appeal to your toofies.

What a cool bed Fenris! But really you shouldn't be eating it.
Oh Dear! Well, we understand chewing...we have a few chewers here, too. Only Feline, not Woofie.
Oh my, I didn't know that they even made beds you could eat Fenris...save me a bite!
Oh Fenris, you big silly!!!
Fenris, I can understand your situation very well. Holly likes to eat her beds too and that is why her latest bed is on my sofa and she sleeps on the sofa that she tore up as a puppy! Her bed actually made me a very soft pillow! I hope you get a bed you won't want to eat or maybe you can get a couch!! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
oh Fenris!!!
I have never tried bed-nomming before. Seems interesting.

Could there be a doggie bed made of that super-strong Kevlar or other stuff?

Hi, Fenris!
That proves your point. What you need is a SOFA... not a dog bed!
Good luck!

Fenris, we're glad you love your new bed...but we're sorry it has a hole in it now...you loved it a little too much!!
That was a very good review, Fenris! Um, I kinda have the same problem with the bed chewing but I'm getting better about it. Mom just bought me one from Target that's made out of a kind of nylon material and it's not nearly as interesting to chew on. She just puts an old blankie over it and it works just fine for me! Here it is if you want to look at it: http://tinyurl.com/23j2n6d
