This is our Bottlebrush. Socks planted it for MoMo, so she will feel at home when she comes to visit him.
It is a native of Australia just like MoMo.
We thinks they are both very pretty.
This is a close up of it's bloom.

I've never seen a bottle bush before...thanks for sharing it with us.
How big is your compost area? It looks quite large. We are thinking about getting one to help with fertilizer and waste cost.
What a super groovy bush! Never seen one like that! It's a nice place to remember MoMo.
Now that's love, planting a bush so Mom will feel at home when she visits. And what pretty flowers. You're a good guy, Socks.

For those interested in the size of the compost thing
Each bin is roughly 4x4 and there are 3 bins. Daddy used chicken wire for the sides. So far it is working OK. ~AFSS
Brian, I can't wait. ~Scylla
Yay for the Bottlebrush! We have a large tree in our yard. It is not blooming; it's winter for us and only the Christmas tree and the cacti are flowering.
