Sometimes it is hard to imagine what a flower will look like once the buds OPEN.
And sometimes it is very hard to wait for them to OPEN so you can see what the flower will look like.

This is what this cactus looked like once the buds OPENED. Alas some bad kitty knocked the cactus off right after this picture was taken. MOL, you should not try to sit on cactus they poke you in the butt.

Never thought about the flower buds before. This is interesting. I am noticing them more as I look outside.
