Thursday in the Garden

Daddy has started to rock up the flower beds.

 The Confederate Rose is blooming.

A wildflower. We loves the color. We are going to make Mommy find out its name one day.

The butterflies are enjoying the Zinnias. There blooms are almost spent now.

The Katie Dwarf Ruellia. We are very pleased with it and hope is spreads well.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the Carolina Jasmine to climb up the post?

Stop by Jonesie's Garden to see what she is up to and find the links to other members of the Society of Feline Gardeners.

We love that Confederate rose. The butterflies aren't around here anymore - way too cold. Sorry we can't help out with the climbing question. If Ciara were there, you wouldn't have to worry about it:(

I checked with Jonesie and she said she doesn't know specifically about Carolina Jasmine being an Oregon kitty and all that...but mom and dad have had success with most anything by taking the new shoots/growth and encouraging it to grown in any direction they want.

Your garden is looking lovely and lush as always! The confederate rose is gorgeous and it's always a pleasure to see the butterflies!!

Me and Charlie hope you discover the best way to urge a jasmine to climb!!!!

Take care
