Yakking ~ Mommy got sent to Cooking School

Socks
I have been collecting my favorite toys and playing with them on the sack, for some reason Daddy and Mommy think this is funny.

Mommy had a great time on her trip and now she wants to chatter about it, since she has promised me food I guesses I will oblige. ~Socks

I meet Dorian Wagner (Your Daily Cute) and Cosmo's Mom, Diane Silva (To Dog With Love) in Atlanta. Here we are with Flat Cosmo.

They had a limo waiting when we arrived.

Dorian has been instrumental in getting the word out about the Loews Cats. The cats still need our help visit the Facebook page Save Loews Cats to see if there is anything you can do, especially if you live in the Orlando, FL area.

Alasandra arriving in Ohio
The tennis shoes really need to go, they so look out of place.

 A comfortable room awaited .......................

 Completed with a Goody Bag.
Look I get my very own HARD HAT!!!!!!! There was candy too, but I ate it before I thought about taking a picture.

After I unpacked it was time to head to cooking school. We had this awesome bus to take us on our explorations.

Heather, Beverly VanZant (IAMS) with Flat Tyler (Look for Bev and Flat Tyler at BlogPaws 2012) and Eric.

We arrived at DLM School of Cooking.............................

They had appetizers waiting for us. Then we broke into teams. I was on TEAM MEAT!!!!!!! .......................

Thanks to Jason's grilling skills Team Meat was CHOSEN for  first place by both the manager of DLM and the bus driver. You might say we won by a Land Slider.

We created both Chicken Kabobs and Sliders this was our practice  presentation plate.

Visit Alasandra's Place where I will share the recipes with you. Although I'll warn you ahead of time we created the recipe for our winning meats and I'll be sharing what I remember of the recipe.

The prize was this awesome backpack, it also has wheels and a handle so it's perfect for carting stuff around at the airport.

Stay tuned for more info about Behind the Paw 2012 I have lots of information to share about this wonderful event.

Arty Update: She is still missing. I am going to try to walk in the overgrown field next door, where there are lots of rabbits, this morning. The brush is very thick so I don't know how far I will be able to walk in there. ~Alasandra

Looks like all of you had a really good time. Great pictures and fun to see.
We are sending more purrs and prayers to Arty Mouse to get herself home. We know how you feel. Some of the kitties here wander off and it is just a horrible feeling. Take care.

A neighbor's dog disappeared for a few days in the small town my parents lived in. My father helped search and found the dog nearby in the school yard among demolition junk. She was trapped by her collar. They had searched that area before but didn't see her and for some unknown reason, she didn't bark.

We hope your search is successful for Arty Mouse. We've been so worried about her. I'm not familiar with where you live so can't offer much advice.

A beautiful looking hotel room and look at the size of that bed! Big enough for several cats or humans.

I went through this last week with Finnegan. He did come home on his own after about 2 days. A couple of things to try - put a worn t-shirt of yours near the edge of the area where you're looking, a dish of nice stinky food is a good idea too. If she's chipped, be sure to notify the chip company, Home Again sends out an email alert to other pet owners in the area. Have you been calling nearby vet offices and checking with any shelters or rescues? People who feed feral colonies might be good spotters too. I wish you the best of luck. We are purring and praying that Miss Arty makes her way home very soon.

I do hope you find Artemisia soon. I know that sick feeling when one of the loved ones goes walkabout. Two weeks ago one of our furry boys slipped out the door (a rescue that loves the outdoor and is not allowed out) and while we catch the occasional glimpse of him, he is not coming close to the house. I go out every day to fill up a bowl with dry cat food and I hope that the disappearance of food overnight means that he, and not some other cat, is eating.

Arty Mouse,
You need to come home now...you are worrying everyone and your adventure should hold you for a little while.

We're sending purrayers that Arty soon arrive home, safe and sound.
