Well if it has a POINTY tail and ROUND PUPILS... he is not so bad... BUTT a Blunt tail and CAT LIKE Pupils... THAT is a Snake of a WAY different Stripe. WE do NOT like Snakes... at all. Either Kind.
Wow, that's a cool critter! Mom and I like snakies, Dad not so much. BOL We think it's a "Tire Tread Snake" because that pattern on his body looks like tire tracks. BWAR HAR HAR Okay, not very scientific, but funny. ahem. Grr and Woof, Sarge, COP
That sure likes the garter snakes wes has around here. The rattle snakes babies does not has pointy tails. Me likes to catch them and bring them to Daddy! he screams like a little girl when me dies that! kisses Nellie

TBT: Actually I think it IS a garter snake. It has the typical small head and pattern of square markings that many of them have.

Hmmmm...I'm not good at identifying snakes. If I had to make a guess...I'd say a garter snake.
