Saturday Sharing

The goslings are growing up. They came very close to Mommy when she was in the Hummingbird Cottage.

Can you see the babies. They are camouflaged good in the grass.

Our geese are very well behaved but we are thankful it is only ONE family. Further down there is a pond full of geese. Mommy thinks this is where our Geese Family goes when they leave here.

Every year this one Goose and Gander stay at our pond and the Goose makes a nest on the island. They stick around for awhile after the goslings hatch and then they disappear. They have stayed longer this year then usual.

Goslings are so cute when they are little.

We are happy to report there are still six goslings. Sorry we couldn't get the entire family in a picture the goslings were moving around to much.  ~Scylla, reporting for Alasandra, The Cats & Dogs

  5. I love all the baby-animals in spring, they are wonderful

  6. That is SO cool that you have a goose family. I can't imagine we would leave our paws off of them...but oh how we'd get in trouble...

Good thing we can just see them in your yard!

  7. the babies are cute but we have so many here that it is ridiculous!!! Be careful of those Mother Geese! They are MEAN!

  8. Hi guys, thank you so much for your birthday wishes. Can you believe my mum forgot about it? But it's ok, she loves me anyway.

Lots of purrs, hope everything will be all right.

  9. One smart Goose and Gander who like their privacy while raising their young and so nice of them to share that time with you. They know where life is good.

  11. Mom loves Geese! Every time she sees them down at the cranberry bogs she yells GEEEEEEEEEESE! Now all the beans do that when they see geese around. MOL

They are a beautiful family and they must really love and trust yoo all to be there year after year!

  12. Ohhh Scylla. I am going to have photos of goslings on Momday! And ducklings too. From a pond at apartments next door to our townhome complex. So cute!
