da tabbies o trout towne any advice for cookin mackerull on sum thin bee sides de grill when itz 80 bazillion degreez out side...thanx mew veree much
I am so glad you asked. First off I prefer my mackerull raw, but Mommy says a raw food diet is bad for you. All sorts of nonsense about germs and bacteria if you ask me. But peeps are weird about eating food raw, if you do eat it raw it must be FRESH, I can't stress that enough. Now if you wants to cook it I has several suggestions besides grilling it. My number one choice is to smoke it. Lots of flavor and it'll last a really long time, you can also bake it (may I suggest sprinkling it with sage), broil it and poach it. Iffn you poach it I really thinks you needs a cream sauce to go with it.
Now if you are into weird tasted you can make Ceviche, you pours lime juice and some other stuffs over your fish and sticks it in the refrigerator for a really long times. The
Hope this helps, since your question made me hungry I am going to go fishing down at the pond. I heard rumors that we has some trout in there. ~Socks, advice columnist for Alasandra, The Cats & Dogs
