Thursday in the Garden

The Forsythia has leaves now instead of flowers, we will have to wait all the way till next Spring to see it's lovely blooms again.

This Johnny Jump Up found it's way into the pot.

Mommy didn't plant it here. We are happy to report the vines survived the winter.

We knows it looks dead but we assure you it isn't. Next year we are going to MEOW at Mommy to put it in the greenhouse.

The Carolina Jasmine is blooming.

The violets are doing good in this bed.

This is a gorgeous wildflower. We can't ever get a very good picture of it. It is very small and blue on long stalks and looks pawesome when there are a lot grouped together.

The Chinese Witch Hazel, it has the most blooms now but will produce flowers throughout the year. It is an evergreen so it keeps it's leaves all year too.

This is our Red Buckeye, Mommy was suppose to plant it this winter but she didn't. Now she will have to wait till next year.

The Angel Trumpet is blooming. We helped Mommy drag all the Tropicals out of the Greenhouse.

Our Lemon and Lime trees are blooming too. Maybe we will have lemons and limes this year if the birds don't eat them first.

You are WAY ahead of us! MomFOD's been planting in the house and locking the little seedlings in cages so I can't um, smell them. And then she takes them outside for sunshine time and brings them back in. She also puts a little hat on her tiny new fig tree. We can't wait til our garden looks like yours!

OH! We have lots and lots of violets! Sumpeople call them weeds! I call them as does mommy, God's gift to s. Mom LOVES violets!

I love your garden. Mom is saddened that the severe cold killed her only Gardenia plant. The soil is so hard that she can't dig do plant another. :-((((

Beautiful garden! Maybe you need a scarecrow to protect the lemons and limes from birds.

Love and licks,
