Wildlife Wednesday

The Geese family, parading around, April 13th.

Daddy's wildflower bed, his yarrow is doing pawesome, MOL Mommy's in the herb bed isn't doing as well.

The Geese came to visit Mommy while she was weeding the Butterfly Garden.

She took a break to take pictures they were so cute.

The Grancy Graybeard is pretty.

The Gold Flame Honeysuckle.

Million Bells
The stuffs we can't remember what is? It isn't a petunia or a pansy. The one thing Mommy remembers about it, is it is drought resistant. Maybe next time Mommy goes by the nursery she can find out it's name. ~Socks & Scylla reporting for ATCAD

UPDATE: Thanks a million Terri for identifying our flowers as "million bells". Mommy choose them because they prefer dry soil. Her thinking is that she won't have to water the hanging basket so much. They also tolerate our hot weather better then petunia's or pansies. They lady at the nursery said they should look good until our first frost. It's an an evergreen perennial where the winters are mild, so we are anxious to see how it does here. The Superbells Mommy has shown you in our other containers are in the same family.

Adorable goslings--cannot believe how mellow your geese are!

Your lovely flowers are calibrachoa, also known as "million bells". Yes, they do look like little petunias :)

We think we have those same bells in our front garden - Mom loves them too and hopes they will last through our hot summer.
