Thursday in the Garden with Scylla

The Lemon Zest Lantana is doing well.

Interesting wildflower.

Our Candlebush is blooming, it is a relative of the Danglepod.

Which is doing like REALLY WELL. It has kinda taken over the wildflower bed.

The birds just love both the Candlebush and the Danglepod.

The Hydrangea is doing better this year then it ever has. We miss the BLUE blooms, but the pink are kinda pretty too.

Well that is all I has to meow for now. I hopes you enjoyed my gardening report. ~Scylla, reporting for ATCAD

Scylla what lovely flowers in your garden..i love the name Danglepod!! and has mum tried some coffee grounds in the soil to get them to change ? I think it's acidity that can change them blue:) hugs and enjoy your garden sweets Fozziemum xxx

Pretty flowers, S. I didn't know that flowers could decide to be different colors at different times. Smarty-pants flowers!

Love and licks,
Cupcake

We have been getting so much rain (much more than normal for the summer) that it washed all the acid out of the ground. And yes Fozziemum it is the acid that turns them blue. We will have to try the coffee ground trick. Mommy usually uses Miracle Gro for Acid loving plants, but she doesn't want to use fertilizer until the fall.
