Reflection Saturday

Way back on November 19th when it was still FALL we had a frost that killed a lot of our plants that normally bloom in the Fall. This made us very sad.

Well now it is WINTER but our flowers think it is Spring. The Forsythia has blooms on it, the Confederate Rose is putting on new leaves and so is the Hydrangea. This is NOT GOOD.

I am not sure what a gardening dog is suppose to do in these circumstances. I just has my paws crossed everything survives.

This little cutie is my Uncle Robbie's dog Daisy.

He has taught her lots of tricks. Mommy took her picture when they went to visit for Christmas. ~Fenris, reporting for ATCAD

Daisy looks a little like me! She must be part (or all) Jack Russell. Plus I can sit up and beg like that, too!

Love and licks,
Cupcake

it happened here too... our palm tree and my mommas fig tree were killed by Mr. Frost :o(
I thought the same, Daisy could be a cousin of Cupcake :o)

Oh I'd be worried too. Now I want to check on our forsythia…it is supposed to be 77 here tomorrow or Monday… no wonder the plants are confused. I think some of the birds are too. Clever Daisy, my childhood dog knew that trick!

That has been happening here TOO much. For three years (I am in East Tennessee) my daffodils have bloomed!!! in January! Hyacinths right behind them and tulips by late February. That is not right. I am afraid to go look at the daffodil patches. I saw a VIOLET and a dandelion last week!

With the warmer than usual weather we had in the fall, all our flowers thought it was spring too....when it finally got cold, they all died...we don't know what spring is going to bring around here either!!

That Daisy is a real cutie!!

Those plants are as mixed up as our weather...snow, sleet, rain, freezing rain, UGH.
Warm at Christmas, now its going to be arctic by the beginning of the week...

Daisy looks like she could be a cousin of our Dog-guy fur sure, he sits up like that...she looks like a Rat terrier, MJF is a JRT, we think some of the difference lies in the ears, hers are perky and MJF's fold over...anyways she is cute and a ham by seeing her expression of having fun with tricks!

MJF does about anything within reason if a treat is involved, MOL!

Have a great weekend!
