Sometimes we do, we planted lots of flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. So far this year we have mainly seen carpenter bees.

It's Latin name is Loropetalum chinense var. rubrum and sometimes it is called Fringe Flower. Mommy says flowers are called different things in different places which makes it confusing sometimes.

Oh, Wow! All we have here is greener grass, and the bluebells. Maybe one of these days the daffodils...our crocuses did not reappear. Sigh...squirrels?? Who knows. Maybe it was too cold.Thanks for brightenong our day with all that purrtiness!
