Mancat Monday

Once Daddy gets the greenhouse put back together I has to help Mommy move all the plants in there. Thank Cod we haven't had a frost yet. Daddy was very naughty waiting this late in the year to fix the greenhouse.

For our friends who live up North, it is not unusual for us not to have a hard frost until after Christmas. January is the coldest month down here. Last year we had a hard frost before Thanksgiving and a lot of our Fall Flowers were killed before they even had a chance to bloom. This year we are getting to enjoy cuphea and sage well into the Christmas season. ~ Socks reporting for ATCAD

it is so warm by me too - yesterday it was almost 70 - which is unheard of in Dec in NY

We've been having warm weather up here. Though it's supposed to get cold later this week.

We're having record breaking warmth today. It might reach 70 degrees! Your mom is lucky to have you help her with the gardening chores.

Your daddy better get after it! Good idea to help your mommy make sure the plants will be ready for cold weather.

We had an inch of rain in the past couple days, which is very unusual for this part of the country. That could have been several inches of snow!

Living on the West Coast, I'm not even sure we know what a "hard" frost is! It rarely gets below the mid-30s here. Last year, it happened maybe a couple of nights and that was about it.

Good for you, Socks, and your dad for doing that work! We bet we'd love a greenhouse because our mom wishes for one sometimes and says it would be cozy for kitties. We believe her most of the time.

My mum is all behind with getting her tender plants in the greenhouse too. It is still very mild here but she needs to get her act together!

Fur December it is unusually warm here in Michigan...we have been in the upper 50's and lower 60's and rain, rain rain...well, meowmy says at least its not snow, what a mess that would have been.
Cold is sure to come our way one of these days:)
