Tuiren Barking Thank you

Ok, a lot of our friends know that I scared Mommy and Daddy last night. I came into eat but Fenny stayed outside with the Dad doing macho guy stuff. I ate all my supper like a good doggie and Mommy went to fold clothes. Than Daddy came in about 20 minutes later and he tried to get Fenris to come with him, but Fenny wouldn't come so he told Mommy SHE needed to call him.

So Mommy was holding the door open calling Fenris when she heard this noise and she turned around and I was trying to go outside, but my hind legs weren't working I was dragging myself with my front legs. I got outside (Mommy couldn't close the door because I was in the way at that point) and I fell over on my side. My front legs went stiff, one curled up toward my body and my back legs started jerking. It lasted about 5 minutes. Daddy put me in the back of the car to take me to the ER vet, but the minute he put me down and I realized I wasn't buckled in I headed up to the front seat (where I am not allowed). Mommy had to get me out (she worries about me distracting her if I am in the front) and when she did her and Daddy could see I was fine. They decided to wait and take me to our regular vet.

Well she got me an appointment at 10:40 today and my lab work came back fine and I passed my physical with flying colors. At this point we are going to just monitor me. It is our hope this will never happen again. ~Tuiren, who feels fine today and had a good time at the vets office

  1. As we told Alasandra, we hope this was a one time event and never happens again. We know all too well how scary episodes like this can be.
