Thursday in the Garden

Lily of the Nile, African Lily

Ours never does very well. It just had this one bloom.

Although it was very lovely. I don't think it liked all this rain we have been getting.

The Vinca has been doing great.

Canna Lily

Ginger Lily

The Ginger Lilies have been doing great.

We have been getting so much rain we have a little stream down at the Butterfly Garden.

A pretty wildflower.

Desert Rose

We hope you enjoyed our garden tour. ~ATCAD

One good bloom of a difficult plant is a precious thing...

OH, I want that Africann lily on my fence. Does it climb? So lovely.

No, it's not a climber. It creates a mound the flowers shoot up on long stalks. I will try to take a picture of the entire plant, so I can show you.

We haven't had any rain for so long that everything is dried out. It's lovely to see your garden!

Our flowers haven't done too well this summer with the lack of rain we had.

Yes, we did. Most of our flowers are gone thanks to the marauding marmots! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
