Wayback Wednesday

Mommy hasn't been taking many pictures of ME lately so she suggested I do a wayback Wednesday post. I sure am thankful I got to see the new tree. I think it's really pretty.

It is the most real looking fake tree I have ever seen.

Frankie and Ernie aren't the only one who have Snow Freaks but we have more of the guy in the red suite.
And that coffee cup is older than dirt. Mommy got it when she was pregnant with Jonathan. He is all grown up now.

Mommy was disappointed in this spoon rest. Apparently you aren't suppose to use it. It developed stains and weird gunk on it after Mommy sat a spoon down in it. She had to drown it in baking soda and lemon oil for awhile to clean it up again. So now it is just for showing off.

Yin was entranced by the outside lights. Daddy hasn't put them up in ages. He went all out this year.

And Mommy's BFF they meet when Mommy was 3 or 4 gave her this Kissing Ball.

Mommy left the Kissing Ball up, one day she is going to catch Daddy under it.

This is the pretty package it was wrapped in.

A close up of me slumbering under the tree.

For those of you wondering how I am doing. I am losing weight although I am still eating and drinking. I can't use my tongue to eat normally so I have had to devise a new way to eat and drink and can only drink out of the Drinkwell 360. I am drooling which irritated a spot on my chest so I got shaved so Mommy can help me keep it clean and dry. Mommy still lets me go out but she stays right with me and watches me like a hawk. I don't get to stay out as long as I want because Mommy is a wuss and says it is too cold and windy. I spend most of my time inside sleeping or cuddling with my parents.

Getting old sure isn't for sissies and Cancer sucks. ~Socks, reporting for ATCAD

Hey Buddy glad you are still able to eat and enjoy! Having a quiet nap and a good pet is what life is all about. Buddy Budd was diagnosed with Lymphoma and Pancreatitis in 12/15 and is happy as anything. Great way back photos! Thanks
Purrs my friend. It sure was nice seeing you at Scouts!

Nothing wrong with spending a lot of time sleeping. Mom would like to do the same thing, but she never really gets a chance. We're sorry you're getting older and developing a few problems. That does indeed sux. Mom knows about that for sure. We're going to be keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
