I loved being near my people. I hardly ever got in the bed when they were sleeping but I often napped there when Mom was getting dressed for the day. The few times I did sleep with the Mom I slept curled up next to her stomach so I wouldn't get kicked.
This was one of my favorite spots in the Family Room, the blanket on top smells like Youngest Boy as it used to be on his bed and the pillow behind me smells like Dad as he uses it when he plays Halo.
It was a wonderful place to nap and I could see Mom in the kitchen puttering around when I opened my eyes.
Mom always got a kick out of the odd positions I slept in.
I was a very flexible cat, even at 16.
I had a nice long life with them.

Socks you look so very comfy in your special sleeping spot.....I know that your family misses you as much as you miss them. You and I both had a nice long life - but even just a little longer would have been nice!

Oh, the sweetness of that little darling. We miss you, Socks, and I know your mama is really troubled by your absence. So sad to lose a pet who has been in the household for so many years, or even one who is there a few days! Ciao, Socks. Yet again.

Lovely memories dear Socks. It is always an important thing to keep our eyes on our hoomans. You never know when they might be grabbing a bite to eat.
Socks we miss you and enjoy you coming to visit. You have some fun sleeping positions so hope you dont mind if I borrow some of them. You didn't look a day over ten my friend
