Scylla Sunday

Rain Rain go away...............Scylla and the kittens want to go out and play.

And Daddy needs to finish putting the tank on the water pump. For those of you who do not know we are on a well where we live. Monday afternoon the tank started leaking, water was pouring out of the pump house at an alarming rate. The only thing Mommy knew to do was turn the pump off until Daddy got home. Thanks to some pawesome neighbors we have running water in the house, but .........it sure will be nice to have our own tank and our own pump working again.

Hope you don't mind me taking my selfie with my eyes closed. I am much to tired to open them. Thank cat I can meow, MEOW at the camera without opening my eyes.

 ~ Scylla, reporting for ATCAD

PeeS: We are happy to report that the slab was dry enough Saturday for Daddy to put the tank on. We now have our pump working, there is a small leak around one of the fittings, so Daddy is going to have the people he bought the tank from come look at it Monday/Tuesday, but we can still use it. It's nothing like the HUGE leak that happened last Monday when the bottom of the old tank rusted out, this is just a little drop.

Leaks are never good, so I am really pleased you are down to a very small on and have running water, of the right sort, again. Nice snoozy series this week, keep up the good work!

Glad you got the well fixed. It's hard to get anything done outside with all this rain. We have some sun today, which is a real shock cause we've forgot what it feels like! Many purrs.

You look so peaceful Scylla. We are sick of the rain around here too. We think we might have to get in touch with Noah to help us build an arc. Good work by your dad with the water tank thingie. Our dad has been working hard painting the kitchen this weekend (with a little help from our mom).

We are never sure about water. Sure, we need it. But not so much as TBT. So less is OK with us, but not him.

We're glad your dad got the tank installed. And it's okay that you took your selfie with your eyes closed. We understand about being tired.

Its a good thing your pump is fixed. We had to have a new one of those last fall...
At least had lots of lovely sun today...although it was chilly and we shall get frost tonight. Yikes!

We would be doing sleepy eyed selfies too under the circumstances.
