Thursday in the Garden (Flower Friday Early)

Our poor pomegranate is drowning we got so much rain.

Mommy was thrilled that Daddy finally had a chance to plant it in the yard, as it is suppose to get pretty big, but then it started raining, and raining...did we mention it's been raining and now it isn't doing very well at all.

 The Fennel is doing well.

Not sure what this is? Does anyone know?

Some pretty violets growing wild in our yard.

And our white wisteria. ~Scylla, reporting for ATCAD

PeeS: Some of you asked why Mommy didn't tell Yang Chimera had gone inside, sometimes Mommy doesn't know as Chi Chi is very accomplished at waking Youngest Boy up and getting him to let her back in the house.

That's too bad about the pomegranate.

We had too much rain rot a bunch of irises a couple of years ago.

We need some of your rain over here...is that white flowered plant a cilantro that has bolted??

Perhaps, I planted some cilantro awhile back and I think it possibly reseeded itself.

We have so much rain here too, but mom's pomegranate at the front gate is still doing o.k.
paw crossed for myself =^x^=

I wonder if your pomegranate would have done better in the ground with all the rain? If rain is still in your forecast, you might consider elevating the pomegranate pot a little to improve drainage.

The white flowers look like they might be candytuft (or iberis).

I can't tell one plant from another, so no help here. Send some rain our way, please!

We've had a lot of rain too. All we have living in the yard is moss because of too much shade from the trees that have grown because of the rain.

Thank you so much for your kind comments on Shawnee's passing. Wish we would have gotten around to visit more but know we appreciated all of your visits very much.
