I know everyone thinks I am a doofus but I am actually a very good gardener. I helped Mommy in the Butterfly Garden. The Tickweed looked nice in the Charybdis bed. I listened carefully when Mommy told me about Charybdis.
The Butterfly weed is planted in the Charybdis bed too. It is a native plant. We had hoped it would thrive here and multiply but it seems to struggle to survive. But so far it has come back in one bed or another. Not necessarily the same one. We wonder if maybe the caterpillars eat it before it gets established good. We need to get some more.
Yellow is such a cheerful color isn't it.
This Lantana is a mixture of pink and yellow, some of the blooms are solid pink and some are about half and half of pink and yellow.
And some just have a hint of yellow in them.
Yes, yes now you can gaze upon my handsomeness, please don't swoon ladies. The Mom might accidentally squirt you with the hose. Sometimes we have to water the plants in containers.
And you have to keep an eye on the Mom or she will water you.
Now I am going to take a quick selfie at the Hummingbird Cottage for your viewing pleasure.
And I am going to go take a break in the Jungle Gym while the Mom trims up some bushes. I can keep an eye on her from my perch. ~Yang, reporting for ATCAD
