Flowers on Friday

When Mommy and Mrs Tammy went to Bellingrath Gardens back in April they visited something called an Conservatory. We asked Mommy what the difference was between a Conservatory and a Greenhouse and she said it looked like the flowers live in the Conservatory year round and that it was  lot nicer than her Greenhouse.

She really liked the fountain. Mommy said she would love to have a Conservatory added on to the house where she could sit in it during the winter when it was too cold to be outside. MOL, BOL all of two days (OK we are exaggerating a little but last winter it hardly got cold at all and Mommy spent lots of time outdoors).

 The hibiscus are pretty.

Mommy says these are some sort of orchid.

 Not sure what these are.

They have pineapples just like we do.

Mommy's only complaint with Bellingrath Gardens was they didn't identify the flowers. She knew most of the plants as we have most of them growing here but some she wasn't sure of.

Our big complaint was the NO PETS allowed, honestly you would have thought Mommy would have been bummed she coudn't take Tuiren and Fenris with her. ~ATCAD

You would think that a conservatory would label the plants so others can know what they are. We agree that it isn't fair to not let pets enjoy going there too.

All of those pretty plants would get dug up by woofies, and the dirt used as a litter box by kitties! LOL!

Those are some gorgeous flowers and plants there. We agree, it would be nice to tuck in a few inconspicuous signs with the names of the plants.
