Blogville Holiday Traditions Blog Hop!

First we would like to share the Christmas Card we made with you. If you haven't received it already please feel free to take it. We love all of you and wish each and everyone of you a Happy Holiday.

Next we would like to share the Christmas Cards friends sent us. In years past Mommy created a slide show with them, but unfortunately she didn't feel like it this year, so we are just sharing them with you in this post. They are all beautiful.

We are blessed to have so many kind and thoughtful friends. We want to thank everyone that sent us cards by the Postman, Mommy is sorry she didn't scan them in, but she can remember how to do it and got to upset trying so we hope you will forgive us for not displaying them. Mommy will try to take a picture of them later so we can show them off. We also LOVED all the e-cards we got, but we don't know how to share them, just please know we enjoyed opening them and watching them. We appreciate all of the cards we got digital, paper and e and we treasure all of you.

We put up a tree. Mommy and Daddy decided to go with artificial trees a few years back. Mom picked this one out because it looked real. She loved the berries, pinecones and fake snow (the only kind you are likely to see on the Mississippi Gulf Coast) on it. Grandma Hazel gave Mommy the Hummingbirds.

Mom also has a collection of Santas

They come from all over the world some are tall and skinny others are short and fat.

The Russian Santa comes apart and has a bunch of little Santas inside.

And the Irish and Swedish Santas wear GREEN.

We recognize some of those Christmas Cards, we got them here. This year we did not get out our tradition of all porcelain ornaments for our tree that my Lee has made over the years. We downsized our tree ~ well truly we only have our fireplace mantel decorated so festive and are enjoying the simplicity.
Happy Holidays

I haven't made up a personalized holiday card, because I can never pick my favorite photos of the kitties! You've got a terrific collection!

That is a beautiful collection of Santas. Mom has lots of Santas too - but she only put a few out this year.

That's a great idea, years ago Mommy used to have something that held holiday cards. She probably still has it but it's probably in the attic anyway we need to find it and get those cards displayed. We think for this year we will just set them on the bookshelf if we can convince Yang to stop knocking them off.

We got lots of those cards too. We do think it's kind of funny that your tree has "snow" on it. We are supposed to have plenty of it by then end of Christmas day so you are welcome to come here to enjoy some of the real stuff.
