Hi everyone, I didn't think anyone could find me here. But the Mom is pretty good at finding us.
I have a lot to MEOW about today.
First off Tuiren is one STUPID dog. It got down to 28 degrees last night, that is really cold for here.
SHE didn't want to come inside to sleep. Heck she wasn't even in her doghouse she was hiding out in the yard in the leaves from the sycamore. Yep, they turned brown and fell off the tree recently.
The Mom had to go out in the freezing cold and look for her and then drag her in the house. Fenris on the other hand barely goes outside now. And us cats, well Mom's chair has a nice electric blanket on it that she leaves on for us and her bed has nice warm covers and Daddy has the heaters on in the garage if we sleeps out there. Heck even Yang is smart enough to stay inside when it is COLD. Do any of you have a clue why Tuiren doesn't want to sleep inside where it is warm? ~Yin, reporting for ATCAD

As heat seeking cats, we do not understand Tuiren wanting to be out in the cold :o

I think the rest of you are pretty smart.. Someone needs to have a good long talk with Tuiren maybe..
Tuiren may just want the attention, haha. But making your mom go out in the cold is not nice. You give Tuiren a talking-to, okay! I see that someone else thought the same. Great minds.

Be careful what you say about my dearest Turien. Maybe her life before she came to live with you has an influence on why she prefers to be outside. I think that maybe she didn't have the option of sleeping inside and that is what she still prefers. Of course I'm very glad that you take the extra step to make sure she is inside during the cold weather. Neither of us would want to sleep outside in that temp either.

We might be the wrong pups to give an answer because we do love the cold. But at the same time we don't think we want to stay outside all night. We enjoy our beds:) Maybe Tuiren senses as a beagle that there might be some good hunting to do after dark.

I will NEVER understand T staying out in the cold. I barely allow my nose outside the blanket on Mom's bed when it's cold at night. Yikes!
