Mancat Monday

Hello, thanks for coming by to see us.

It has been raining a lot here. I am taking advantage of the sunshine to check on our plants.

The geese assured me that they have been keeping an eye on things for me. They don't mind the rain.

Mommy says that geese eat bugs, I think they need to eat more bugs. The bad insects mosquitoes, horseflies, and deerflies have been particularly bad this month.

For those of you who want to know more about Canadian Geese. Canada geese are primarily herbivores, although they sometimes eat small insects and fish. Their diet includes green vegetation and grains. The Canada goose eats a variety of grasses when on land. It feeds by grasping a blade of grass with the bill, then tearing it with a jerk of the head.

And now to show you some of our purrty flowers. I hopes you like them.

Maybe you need more bug eating critters around your house, Yang!

Yang, there are so many Canada Geese around our city, that they had to put up signs to warn drivers to not run over them, MOL!!!

You could send some of that rain our way. We are getting a bit parched around here and today the high temp is expected to be in the mid 90's!

I think the rain has been really good for the flowers and really bad for bringing bugs. Bugs. Ugh!

Love and licks,

We don't like the bugs buzzing around all the time, but Mom hates all that messy goose poop:)

We love your flowers! We have our own birds (guinea hens) but they don't eat enough mosquitoes or those nasty flies either. They do eat the ticks though, so we're happy about that!
