Thursday in the January Garden

The forsythia is usually pretty boring in the winter. It just looks like sticks, but this winter it had ice dripping from it's limbs.

Safe in the greenhouse the lantana was blooming.

Along with the Mother of Millions, too bad it blooms in the winter because we think the Hummingbirds would love it. ~ATCAD

You are so lucky to have your greenhouse to keep your plants happy over the winter.

You are right, it has to go in the Greenhouse in the winter because the cold would kill it. Although the way it reseeds itself you might be able to plant it in the yard and have it come back every year if it doesn't get to cold in the winter where you live.
