Looking Back at 2018

Our sweet Katie made this for Mom, Isn't it beautiful. We can't wait to put it back on our door for Spring.

The Candlebush, it is living in the Greenhouse now.

And Mommy got all excited about the sunrise.

Once Daddy got the Dining Room painted, he moved the furniture back in and Mommy unpacked and washed her tea sets. This one is special Daddy's Grandpa made it.

Mommy's Dad found this table at the dump and he thought Mommy would like it. She does. We had it in the family room for a long time. She decided it would look nice in the Dining room. Mommy decided it needed painting though. She painted it Tempered Grey (which is also the color she had Daddy paint the walls in the entry way).

Mommy has had this tea set since she was a very little girl. Her Grandma Agnes gave it to her.

This came from our friends who blog at Cats of Wildcat Woods. We think of them when we use it.

Mommy found this drying mat she just loves it. And this tea set is another one she has had since she was a little girl.

Mommy drug this vase home since it matched our walls and got some "fake" flowers at Michaels to arrange in it. Mommy was pleased with how well this arrangement came together she just dumped them in the vase. She had to work on the other flower arrangement for HOURS before it looked right saying NO Yin often. The Candy Bowl was a gift from Grandma, it looks really nice in here.

And this Trumpet Vine was a gift from Grandpa. It is a native and lives outside all year. These pictures were taken at the end of August though.

We are having a family dinner today of Ham, Cabbage, Black-eyed Peas and Cornbread to celebrate the New Year. It is a tradition at our house. Do you have any traditions to welcome the New Year? ~ATCAD

Happy New Year!!

Our tradition is to go to church an have a service to prepare our hearts for the coming year...and to reflect on how God took care of us through all our trials and good times.

May your 2019 be wonderful and blessed!

Your mom has some wonderful tea sets, treasures all, especially the one that your dad's grandfather made. That's amazing!

Hey, we always have black-eyed peas and cornbread or mama thinks the world will end! We had 25 anthros for BEPs and smoked salmon...my favorite...
Happy New Year. Mama wishes she could show you her tea pot with kitties all over it, made by hand by an artist in LA who loved cats. Maybe we can find a photo.
Mama loves tea sets, too.
Happy New Year to all of you.
