Technically it's a day late. Many of you know I was found on Christmas Day. But since the big guy tends to hog that day I have consented to having my day celebrated the day after Christmas, or as I like to call it Chimas because technically it is my Gotcha Day.
Anyway due to the remodeling and the lousy weather we have been having I decided to move my celebration to an exotic locale. But first...
I want to thank Pipo, Dalton, Benji and Petcretary Ingrid for the lovely card they sent me.
Please join me at Castle Leslie in Ireland. The staff has arranged to see to our comforts there are extra large dog beds and extra fluffy cats beds scattered throughout the castle for us to nap on. And they have went overboard decorating for my gotcha day. I think they decorated every room in the castle for me.
We will begin our fest with a lovely salmon mousse baked to purrfection. You have your choice of catmint tea (that's what I am having), cream or sparkling water, to drink
For the main course there is ham, turkey, several varieties of meat pie (the lamb is really good) cheeses (I can't remember the name of all the cheeses there are a lot and they are all yummy). And their are fruits and stuffs that your humans might like. I did tell you, that you could bring your humans along didn't I. They have nice beds for the humans to sleep in too, but they are in specific rooms and not scattered all through the castle. Do keep up with your human though the castle is very large and I wouldn't want you to misplace them. To go with the main course they are serving a nice catmint infused red wine, although if you prefer something else just ask. I am sure they will get it for you.
And now for my Gotcha Day cake. I asked them to keep it simple and they did an excellent job. It's catmint cake with cream cheese frosting and decorated with sprigs of rosemary. We have rosemary at my house so it was a nice addition to make me feel at home.
I hope you are enjoying my party as much as I am, please stay for as long as you like. I have arranged to have the castle for a week. When you are ready to go please take a treat bag with you.
