Telling on Tuesday

Mom got industrious this Spring and along with doing the weeding she planted some flowers.

For some reason the Pineapple Sage did not do well and died.

The Fennel also seems to have departed, but it got very big before it did. Mom has her fingers crossed it will come back from the roots.

The front flowerbed in the Hummingbird Cottage got spruced up.

We have our paws crossed the Wishbone plant will reseed itself. ~ATCAD

Planting anything is a gamble on the future.

I pick up more native plants this weekend; my milkweed garden needs Joe Pye Weed too, to make sure I attract butterflies and birds.
The Hubby doesn't know about this new round of plants; wonder if I can put them in the ground while he's grocery shopping...? Hehehehe!

That's too bad about the sage, maybe it will be better next year.

Dad is so envious of your beautiful garden. Thanks so much for sharing it with us all

Mom would LOVE to have some surviving flowers or plants or roots. Around here, our flower pots did not have a happy life. Mom straight up stopped trying to baby them back to life and just tossed them and bought new ones. She is pretty sure they started dying on the way home in the car....

Love and licks,
Cupcake

YOur garden sure is beautiful. Your mom did a great job! We are sorry the pineapple sage and fennel didn't work out as planned, though.

Our pineapple Sage was huge last year, but of course it did not survive our harsh winter.

I always enjoy seeing the things happening and growing in your garden.

Love your garden and the names of plants, like Wishbone and Butterfly.
