What a beautiful bird so graceful and then he eat snakes is yes good! What kind of snakes live in that pond?
Is that a great blue heron of a egret? Either way they do love to eat fish, frogs and lots of other reptiles and amphibians.
I love birds and birds that eat snakes is on the top of my list too.

Great shots. I'd LOVE to see one eat a snake...we have a heron in the river behind the house we see all the time and watching him heat fish is incredible! Thanks for sharing!

A beautiful egret!!
I love watching those types of birds strut through the watery places to catch their prey. We have egrets here on rare occasions...but mostly we have herons; the great blue being the commonest.
