Tails on Thursday With Fenris

Don't worry these pictures are from way back in August 2020 I am not currently a cone head (thank Dog).

I do have some tips on how to make your parents lives miserable if they stick a cone on you. The first is to constantly run into them, the cone is very hard and HURTS so they will not like it. If you don't understand how to do this just ask a cat buddy to demonstrate head butting your human. Doing it with a cone on is guaranteed to get their attention.

Mom's tip on how not to have a cone put on you in the first place is no obsessive licking. I had hot spots all over my upper thighs and belly. A shave and water therapy allowed them to heal, and the cone that prevented me from licking.

Mom planted some new flowers last year at the Hummingbird Cottage, we are hoping they are able to come back.

And these are our wildflowers.

The Ginger Lilies we are happy to report they seem to be recovering from the really cold weather we had as well as Mom's burning them to the ground in order to weed the bed.

Our Candle Bush we are anxious to see if the ones at the Butterfly Garden come back this year. The one Mom keeps in the greenhouse is doing good and she was even able to root two. She is going to give the Grandparents one for their new house.

Roses, it has gotten very large and will be blooming soon.

Being a cone head didn't slow me down.

I stopped by the Hummingbird Cottage to say Hi to Yang. He likes to hang out down there under the chair. ~Fenris, reporting for ATCAD

Love those flowers. Dad is always so envious of your garden. Purrfect
Well no cone is the best. We have soft cones so can't do the run and bump. Darn. Wait, it would be worse if we had a cone, never mind.

I like that cone trick to annoy your cone-putter-oners. Fie on them. But that licking wasn't so nice either, Fenris

We're happy to say neither one of us has had to wear the dreaded cone. It's good to see it didn't stop you from doing anything.

Fenris, I’m glad you’re better now and don’t have to wear the cone. I had to wear one one time and I hated it. The mom got me one of those inflatable ones that look like a donut. I hated it too but it was a little more comfortable than the cone one. ~Ernie

Fenris! Cones are NOT fun at all and we hate them! But we know that they are a necessary evil. We have a nice fabric one for us cats that works purrfect. Cinnamon still gets the plastic! You humming bird garden is amazing! We hope you have a marvellously happy day!
