Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for laundry hampers, they make a very nice spot to nap ALONE. ~Chimera

I am thankful for my sister, even though she has her paw in MY FACE. ~Yang

Mom why did you take a picture of a tree. (Because there is something in the tree). We don't see anything.

(Now do you see it?) Those are weird looking cats Mom. (They aren't cats they are raccoons).

You sure did get close to them Mom.

(I had been seeing them down at the pond for awhile, but today for some reason they came up to the house)

(They did let me get pretty close before getting scared and going back to the pond.)

I heard raccoons are kind of mean! We've seen them on the security cam around our house.

Yang, it is good that you love your sister even with het foot in your face ;) MOL!
We hear raccoons screeching in the trees in the back yard.
Makes me glad to be indoors!

Oh, what cuties. The kitties, too. Raccoons LOVE grahaam crackers....but they can be a bit rough around kitties.

You all have great things to be thankful for. We never see any raccoons around here but we do see their foot prints they leave during the night. It's surprising to see them during the day.

Great photos of you all napping. They sure are funny looking not-cats

Racoons! Yikes. I hope they are not looking for a garbage pail to dump over. #raccoonsnackstand

We humans will never understand why cats put their feets on their siblings!

I don't trust those things. They are wearing masks

Those youngish bandits are going to give you kitties and pups big trouble...even though admittedly they are cute...some of them killed a doggie next door...and they ripped up all of my bird feeders one year...and ate all the eggs in a blue jay nest...the next year they killed the same pair's fledglings. Petcretary wants us to bark them far away!

One year she saw some very young ones acting very strange, they had distemper and the vet said to not walk the dogs there at all for fear they would get it too.
