Mom is doing the Layout a Day at Digital Scrapbooking Studio each day they ask you do do something new and explain how to do it, if it's a new technique. Mom has learned lots of new things this go around. This day was to do a mask.
The next day you used the same mask but used blend mode. Mom changed the paper too, but that's the only other thing she did from the day before. Oh and she added a border of leaves. Mom liked this paper so well she used it the next day.
This day was about making a border. And it also explains why we hardly ever see Mom anymore.
And finally my page which was about combining mask to make a picture fit.
And this was using mask in order to use a background paper you like but that might be too busy for an entire page, the leaves at the top are a background paper Mom stuck in a mask. And the fair was another reason we didn't see much of Mom not only did she take Grandpa to the fair she went again with the Grandkids.
And today's challenge which was very challenging you combined transfers and mask. Mom learned lots of new stuff with this one.
And now I need your help. Mail Chimp was giving us fits. It stopped delivering our post by email to us as well as other friends and Mom couldn't figure out how to fix it. She tried but got totally confused so we switched to Follow IT, it's in the left hand sidebar if you want to follow us.

I had to hire someone to set up MailChimp for me. Great work once again. TW will never learn exactly what a mask is and how to use it so it's good she doesn't do these challenges.

I use 'Gimp'...its a free open source photoediting program, somewhat easier to use than the PS Elements I tried to use...
