Silly Scylla

Hi Mom says this is a good picture of me. You can see my interesting markings. Mom always wants to kiss the little black spot on my lip. Humans are silly.

We were all so happy the Beauty berry survived the winter we danced for joy when we saw it budding out in March. It is loaded down with berries now, the birds sure will appreciate them this winter.

Besides the regular yellow squash we have every year Daddy planted some Pattypan Squash.

He let them get too big but Mom found a recipe for Stuffed Pattypan Squash and they were delicious. ~Scylla, reporting for ATCAD

Scylla, you need a kiss form me too:)

We threw out some old rotten gourds on the compost heap, and some of their seeds sprouted into vines...and those big yellow squash blooms, but August is too late to start growing gourds around here....

Our mom would like to kiss all your spots, Miss Scylla. We like having shrubs that grow berries for the birds too.

You are a cutie. My hubby grows pattypan every year. They are so good in stir fries.

Pattypan squash. That is a funny name. Mom and I never heard of it, but it sounds fun.

Love and licks,
