Caturday Art - The Bird Edition

The Zoo Challenge was hens, so Mom scrapped Grandpa's Hens.

Mom's Signature for February

And the Scraplift Challenge.

LouLou asked how we are. We are all doing fine. Tuiren still has vertigo but as long as she takes her medication she is fine (Mom is having a little vertigo too, but the same for her). We hope to catch up with all our friends real soon. ~ATCAD

Oh, those are nice looking chickens. Our neighbors used to have chickens, too. They would come to our yard and lay eggs under one of our bushes. LOL! (That was before we had a fenced yard...and no dogs as yet...)

We sure do hope that the vertigo will go away. That's no fun at all. POTP!

My MIL used to keep hens and supply half the village with eggs. She kept them in deep litters overnight but when they went out mid morning there were about 300 running around. My garden was always scratched up and even when we fenced it they managed to find a way in. They had 20 acres they could roam, but no, my garden was always the place to go!

Your art is so pretty. We hope those chickens start laying eggs soon. Our paws are crossed that Tuiren can get rid of her vertigo.

As always, I envy your talent and love your art! I always dream of having my own chickens, and am always tempted when "tractor supply" gets in their spring chicks!!

We are pleased to announce the hens have started laying. Mom has to go collect eggs tomorrow. Thanks for visiting everyone. We are going to try to come visit you soon unfortunately Mom is not feeling well, so we aren't getting much computer time.
