Welcome Spring

Mom got this neat Roots thing for her birthday last year.

We helped her plant the seeds and water them.

Then we put it in the window sill for them to germinate. They came up in know time and Mom had tasty greens to put in salads and stuffs.

She planted some stuff outside too. Artemisia (the plant not Arty Mouse), Begonia and some other stuffs we don't remember the name of.

Angel Wing Begonia and Coleus.

The popcorn tree is an invasive species, but it has pretty flowers and the leaves turn color in the fall. It also has seeds resembling popcorn that the birds eat.

We still ave frosty nights here...and even snow into may sometimes, but the spring bulbs are starting to peek through...and our snowdrops are just beginning to show their little white bell-flowers, so pretty after the long cold winter.

We just heard about Fenris not feeling well, so we made you a POTP card and we put it on your FB...we couldn't send it via email as it bounced back to us. Do you have a new email address?

PS: We read though all the previous posts...loved all the art work and selfies. We are WAY behind...sorry we have not visited much...but you are never forgotten!

How fun to be planting things already. It will be over a month before we can think of planting around here.

We hope Fenris is feeling better today and have our paws crossed that he continues to improve.
