Mewing on Monday

 

Mom has been very busy taking care of Lady and the chickens. Lady's fur mats horribly, so Mom has to brush her as often as she can.


The chickens are filthy creatures, they poop in their nest which has to be cleaned often, and they poop in their food and (sigh) somehow they get mud in their water. So in addition to feeding them Mom has to clean up after them. This is a Rhode Island Red hen.


Mom is not sure what breed the rooster is, she thinks he is a Buff Orpington, he is a very gentle boy.


The black and white hen is a Dominique Chicken. We hope you enjoyed seeing what is keeping Mom so busy. ~ATCAD
