Ladybug remembers her first bath at LaundroMutt (May 2024)

Fen was a pro at going to LaundroMutt and getting a bath. After Mom finished bathing him they did a photo shoot.

He made a great model with those blue eyes.

And his face was very expressive.

He was pretty much always happy, even after a bath.

Mom loved him so much.

Alright I wasn't thrilled with the bath. They still scare me and my face pretty much always looks the same. Mom usually let's the groomers there bath me.

I do like walking though and I prefer to walk on a leash.

Fen was always having to wait on us to catch up.

He knew the rules you can only get so far ahead, you have to come to Mom when called and if she says leave it you gotta leave it. Even if it is a yummy smelling slice of pizza.

Fen says the leave it was the hardest one to obey especially the day after the Ocean Spring Mardi Gra parade when he was walking with Mom and Mrs Tammy. There was a yummy slice of pizza just laying on the sidewalk so he scooped it up but before he could eat it Mom said leave it in her mean voice. So to Mrs Tammy's surprise he dropped it back on the sidewalk where he found it.

Mom said that was an extra good dog and he got extra treats when he got home.

I want to be a good dog like Fenris.

But there are a lot of confusing rules. Like why do you have to leave a yummy slice of pizza on the sidewalk and why can't you drink out of the pond?

I am afraid of breaking a rule so I want Mom to walk me on leash so she can keep me out of trouble. I don't like her mean voice. ~Ladybug, reporting for ATCAD

Fenris sure was a special boy. You're a good girl too, Ladybug. I don't think I could resist a slice of pizza on the ground either.

Cute post and photos! It would be very hard to resist a piece of pizza.
Take care, have a great day!

Ladybug, it can be very hard to be good. Fenris must have had a lot of practice. I'm sure you can practice and get better at it as he was.
