Fenris & Nature Friday

 

For some reason everyone thinks I should get up and talk to you. I can bark just as well from the comfort of the cool tile floor. It it's not pouring down rain it's a furnace outside. As a result we are spending the majority of our days inside.

Mom braved the elements to take a picture of the American Beauty bush. The birds will eat the purple berries this winter. ~Fenris, reporting for ATCAD

Thursday in the Garden

 

Not only does the Gardenia look pretty when it blooms it smells good too.

Daddy planted some cherry trees and look we already have cherries.

The pears are almost ready to pick.

And so are the apples.

These pretty little flowers came up around the pear tree.

We hope you enjoyed seeing whats growing in our yard. ~ATCAD

Fenris Friday & Nature Friday

Mom asked Yin and Scylla if they would like to go for a walk but they said they would rather continue their nap. And now you see why sometimes we don't blog. For some reason the cats think getting in the way is helping.

Mom took some pictures of our leaves and wildflowers. This fern is interesting.

I always take time to smell the flowers.

Don't worry Tuiren is with us. It's just she is on leash thus stuck with poky Mom while I can walk slightly ahead. I have to stay within a certain distance 1.) to protect the ladies and 2.) because Mom says so.

These are cute.

Mom doesn't know what these are but she says she needs to pick them for a dried flower arrangement. 

Mom isn't sure what this is either but it's gorgeous and blue.

I found lots of neat flowers to look at and smell.

I enjoy looking at the flowers on our walks.

We enjoy walking when it's sunny and dry.

Mom said the light was right for a photo session.

So I agreed to interrupt our walk for a modeling session.

Mom loves this picture.

Sometimes she is really funny, she wanted a picture of my tail lite up. I didn't think that sounded like a good idea at all.

But she said she got it so all is well. This is another picture she loves.

I was allowed to go back to walking and smelling the flowers.
