My Musing on My Hospital Stay

The nurses were fantastic. They were all very concerned with making sure I was as comfortable as possible and more then willing to fetch me hot tea. I was on a liquid diet the first day and I lived off hot tea.

Overall the food service was decent. They kept bringing me things I can't stand. I hate Jello (it makes me gag)!!!! the chicken broth was way too salty for my taste and breakfast was bland city. But the Cheeseburger and fries they brought for lunch more then made up for it.

I was more then happy to go home though, now I am getting spoilt by Hubby & Kids.

Women denied medicine again

A federal judge has suspended Washington state's requirement that pharmacists sell "morning-after" birth control pills, a victory for druggists who claim their moral objections to the drug are being bulldozed by the government.

In an injunction signed Thursday, U.S. District Judge Ronald Leighton said pharmacists can refuse to sell the morning-after pill if they refer the customer to another nearby source. Pharmacists' employers also are protected by the order.

I just wish the HPV vaccine had been available for my generation. Once you get HPV, it's too late to do anything about it.
