Elizabeth was the daughter of King Henry VIII and his second wife, Anne Boleyn. She was born on 7 September 1533 at Greenwich Palace.

I think Queen Elizabeth was a good ruler for England. She kept government small and allowed private individuals and companies to develope. The fondation for England becoming a great power was laid during her reign.
She is certainly one of the most fascinating. I have always enjoyed reading about her.
