We had lots of Butterflies come to visit us.
Eldest graduated from the Community College.
Eldest transferred to a University, at 18 he is in his third year of a Computer Science Degree.
I was able to check lots of good books out of the local public library to read. Libraries are wonderful things, please be sure to support your library.
I made lots of new blog friends.
I was able to contact an old friend from elementary school.
I was able to do lunch every other month with one of my old friends from Meridian who relocated here.
I finally got to meet
Natalie in person.
Hershey (black kitten), Oreo (black & white kitten), Yin (black), Yang (white with black spots), Slippy (gray tabby) , & Dogs Ladybug (collie) and Maize plus our Mom Sandra

Boy that does sound like a great year! I do hope this year is equal or better. How does your child like University?? Such a big change.

Ah...may I add that I am sure your other children are smart too - as soon as I hit the submit button - I realized how that comment about "one very smart kid" could be construed wrong...

Don't worry about it Holly, I understood what you meant. And we think Eldest is pretty amazing too. I am really impressed with everything Eldest has done considering he is only 18.
His younger brother is 'smart' in his own unique way.
