The Best Birthday Ever & The Whiskers Memorial Butterfly Garden

I had a lovely birthday Saturday even though it was very busy. Youngest son took the ACT that morning and had a Team Fusion 364 meeting that afternoon. He was gone most of the day. Course once eldest son left for work that meant that Hubby and I had the house to ourselves (except for the cats, and we put them outside). After a very romantic interlude he took me to eat at Cafe New Orleans. I had the stuffed flounder and Hubby had the Seafood Platter. Both meals were delicious and the whole family enjoyed the leftovers Sunday.

Sunday I was able to spend some time outside working in the Whiskers Memorial Butterfly Garden. Socks and Charybdis came to keep me company. Lazy Scylla chose to stay inside napping. A very nice surprise were the butterflies that were already flitting around the garden.

Even though Hubby worked very hard, he was unable to finish the greenhouse this weekend. This is as far as he got.

Unfortunately he will be unable to work on it again until February 23rd.

We didn't know it was your birthday! A belated happy birthday from me and SS and many happy returns! Socks only said the parents went on a date but never breathed a word about a romantic dinner date for birthday.

I am glad you had a wonderful birthday! Your greenhouse is just like my birthday present, on backorder. Heehee!

Daisy, I am sure we will both get our backorder presents sooner or later. In my case I am sure it is going to be later. Poor Hubby weather and work are conspiring to keep him from finishing.

MoMo and SS, thank you. I think the kids both human and feline were put out that we went to eat without them. They were good sports about it though and didn't complain to much.
