Mayzie's Rescue Me Week

We are participating in Mayzie's rescue Me Week in memory of her Grandpa J.

We chose pets from Animal Protection and Education Association, Inc. because it is the closest rescue to us.  It is located in Vancleave, Mississippi.

Meet Lil Ruffy and his brother Colby.

Lil Ruffy
(From the rescue site) Lil Ruffy and Colby are brothers and just like our Ruffy, they are the result of breeding Merle to Merle - creating Lethal White.  Lil Ruffy is completely deaf but has full vision. He is a very sweet boy and will need a home willing to work with him.  He gets along well with kids, horses, and other dogs but will chase the cats.  He is about a year old and is not housetrained.

Colby
Colby is an extremely sweet boy and loves people. He is both completely deaf and blind but he gets around very well!  He will need a very special home who is willing to work with him.  He gets along well with kids, other dogs and cats. He is about a year old and is not housetrained.

Now for the cats

Orlando
Orlando is about three years old. He is a lover boy and wants to be with people. He gets along well with other cats and dogs.

Dreamy
Dreamy is a three year old female. She is very sweet and loving with people but other cats do not socialize with her.  She is very laid back and not aggressive at all towards other cats and gets along well with dogs.

I wonder why other cats won't socialize with Dreamy? I would TOTALLY socialize with her. In fact, I'd like to gives her a big belleh-snorgle right now!
